Civil War Days takes you back in time and place to the American Civil War. Over two days, Reenactors present living history in a variety of ways, from massive battles with cannon and rifle fire, to depictions of daily life in military camps, in refugee settlements and among the people who lived and died during "the War Between the States". The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Fortuna Sunrise and the Reenactors of the American Civil War and takes place in the "bowl" behind Fortuna's River Lodge Conference Center, next to the Eel River.
